When Aaron and I started dating I would pretend I knew what was going on with sports. When in all actuality the only thing I acknowledged as a sport was figure skating. Now look at me...I go to football and basketball games and get rowdy with the fans (all while genuinely enjoying myself)! This was our latest sports excursion...UNLV vs. BYU basketball. Of course our Rebels annihilated the cute cougars.
It is fun to pick a team or cheer for a team you like and get rowdy with the fans. I am alsways glad when BYU loses, especially to anohter mountain west team! You two look cute at the game. Your blog is also looking super cute!

ReplyDeleteSomeone will have to explain the anti-BYU sentiment to me. I understand that our athletic program is superior to any other Mountain West school, but why put so much stock into sports? Just relax, and enjoy your team's wins. After all, the Utes do have one win against us in football over the past 4 years, and 1 basketball win in about 3 years, and the Rebels are sure to beat us in football sometime before 2030; but it's just sports, so enjoy them (in your dingy little facilties) to the fullest. PS - since I live in California my perspective might be a little off; in this part of the world no one ever discusses the Utes or Rebels, so maybe I'm missing some important information about those fine programs.
