Christmas Bells Are Ringing!

Four Thirty Christmas Morning...Yes, Aaron and I are the bad children that wake up WAY to early to look at presents.

Christmas Eve

I just love and adore Christmas! It really is the most wonderful time of the year.

Aaron and I were lucky enough to spend Christmas with my family in California. It was a blast! We fed homeless people on Christmas Eve, saw real reindeer in Oak Glen, made gingerbread houses, filled stockings, played games and of course had lots of(maybe to many ) Christmas treats. My missionary brother, Matthew, called from Sweden and we talked to him for four hours on speaker phone. We thought it was a little chilly in California...then Matthew told us he was pretty close to the North Pole and the temperature was zero. So I stopped complaining about the cold.

I'm so grateful we are able to celebrate Christmas and remember the birth of Christ. I told Aaron on our way to California that when I was a little girl I was always so excited for my presents. Now I just get excited to be able to be with my family and remember the birth of Christ. I also love being able to give Christmas related service to those in need. I'm glad I have gained perspective on the true meaning of Christmas over the years.

We are slightly curious as to what a dentist is supposed to do with a yard of sugar gum?

Behold! The Princess Ballerina Barbie Tree!

The only thing you can call our Christmas tree is fantastic! It's so fantastic we couldn't wait any longer to put it up. Aaron is truly a sweet husband for allowing me to put this pink monstrosity up for a second year in a row. It's getting a little old and a bit Charlie Brown's Christmas tree-ish, but I think it adds character. This tree has been places with me and I've had so many happy memories associated with it. One great story about this tree is when Aaron and I started dating (a month after Christmas) I told him over the phone I still had my tree up. I lied and said I had been to busy to take it down (when really I just try to keep it up as long as possible...I mean it could be a Valentines Tree if I put red hearts on it...right?) and he said he used that as an excuse to come over to my apartment for the first time to 'help me take down the tree'. We actually didn't do much taking down of the tree that night, but I feel that in some small way the 'Princess Ballerina Barbie Tree' brought Aaron and I a little bit closer.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I love Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for this year. I count my blessings every day...but it's nice to count your blessings once a year while eating delicious food all day! Aaron and I went for a pretty low key Thanksgiving this year. We challenged our cooking skills and realized we are actually pretty great cooks (with a little help from Costco). We had some serious R & R, enjoyed each other, watched lots of Dexter and went to the movies. This was our first Thanksgiving together (last year I was on tour with a ballet company) and we think it's the best Thanksgiving ever! We are so thankful for our families and friends, the church, our jobs, our health and many other every day blessings. Happy Thanksgiving! I hope we all remember to be thankful everyday:)

Turning 30 Never Looked SO Good!!!

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Aaron turning the big 30 than taking him to Zumanity. Aaron is the hardest worker I know and has accomplished so much in the last decade in his life, I thought a night out on the town was much deserved. We loved the show and had so much fun together. At dinner I asked Aaron what his top accomplishments of his 20's were. Of course he immediately said his biggest accomplishment was getting married in the temple to me...I stopped him right there and told him I wanted to know about his biggest achievements and he didn't need to kiss up to me. Aaron served a two year mission, earned his degree in microbiology and minored in chemistry , graduated dental school, became a doctor, has helped tons of patients and bought a big flat screen t-v (he was very proud of the T-V). I love Aaron so much and am very excited to see what he does in his 30's. Happy Birthday Aaron! 30 has never looked so attractive or so promising!

Halloween?!?

It was the middle of last week and in the mist of moving and starting new jobs I failed to realize it was nearly Halloween! I don't know if it was all the unpacking of boxes or the adjusting to new work schedules, but both Aaron and I completely ditched Halloween this year! I know, we are HORRIBLE!

However, we did get candy for trick or treaters who stopped by the new place...uhhh maybe Halloween forgot about us just like we forgot about Halloween, because not a single trick or treater stopped by our place. I'm thinking that Aaron and I are now the Scrooges of Halloween.

I am going to be a little lame and post pictures of last years Halloween, because last year we did celebrate and had a ton of fun. Thank goodness Halloween comes every year because I am looking forward to celebrating 100% in 2011.

Viva Las Vegas...Round 2.

The Aaron and Jeanette Radmall family will be moving back to the sparkly city of Las Vegas in a few days. It seems like just yesterday we moved to St. George. Maybe because it practically was yesterday.

Aaron, who is the most wonderful dentist (and dare I say most attractive dentist) was offered a great job opportunity in Las Vegas. And after lots of careful thought, prayer and fasting, we felt it would be the best thing for our family to accept the job offer. It's a little confusing since we just came from there, but I know that we are always well taken care of and when we are in tune with what Heavenly Father wants for us, well, you can't really go wrong. I'm pretty sad about having to leave my new students. I really loved teaching at the studio her in St. George. I'm also a little bummed about having to turn down my offer to be a teacher at Dixie State. But even though I am a bit disappointed, I know every thing happens for a reason.

So many postive and incredible things happened to Aaron and I when we lived in Las Vegas the first time. I got to be a professional ballerina, taught awesome kids ballet and I found the love of my life. Aaron got to attenend and graduate from dental school, had lots of bachelor adventures and finally settled down with the love of his life. So I'm optomistic amazing things are going to happen to us in Las Vegas round two.

As a reward for moving we induldged ourselves with a new leather sectional. We are loving the new addition to the family!

Dress Up Time!

My new boss Heather rocks. She invited all of her teachers to get together for a photo shoot. Our theme was the 1930's/40's. This is just one picture of many. So just a little sneak peak. I'm so excited to post more pictures. Our wonderful photographer was Emily Clark. Her company is called Wink Fotos if you want to look her up. Her work is really beautiful.

If you want to see the picture closer...just click on the photo. It should pop up in a bigger version.

I'm just to the right of center on the car, holding the very cool and very vintage umbrella. You can't see my entire outfit. It was so pretty. Hopefully when we get some more pictures from that day there will be a few that show off the entire look.

I'm sitting in front off to the left in this one. I almost broke that poor suitcase...hopefully it was just the fact that the suitcase was very old, and not that I've had to many girl scout cookies lately. If you want to see a closer view, just click on the picture.

Aloha Hawaii!!!

Sunset at Turtle Bay

Aaron and I have been lucky enough to spend the last week in paradise! Karl and Cheryl were sweet enough to treat us to a Hawaiian vacation celebrating Aaron becoming Dr. Rad. The four of us have been having plently of exotic adventures including snorkeling, visiting the Polynesian Culture Center, spending time at the picture perfect beaches, eating lots of shaved ice, playing with cute turtle families and even swimming with sharks!

Our First Wedding Anniversary

Our wedding a year ago...

I can't believe a year ago today Aaron and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Our wedding was the best day of our lives. This year has been the best year of our lives and we feel so blessed to have each other as husband and wife. I'm so thankful for Aaron and what an amazing husband he has been to me. He is so loving and supportive. He always tells me how much he loves me and how pretty he thinks I am. Aaron works so hard for our little family. He really is the smartest person and hardest worker I have ever met. He is really such a great dentist and I'm grateful he was able to develop his talents. One of my favorite things (among many) about our marriage is we laugh so much and we are silly together every day. We laugh so hard we often cry or are rolling on the floor. I really believe laughter is good for the soul and a marriage. I feel so blessed to be in such a happy, laughter filled marriage. Aaron is the first thing I am thankful for in my prayers. Okay now I'm done being sappy. Happy 1st Anniversary Aaron Radmall, I'm excited for an infinity more of them:)

We always love an excuse to give eachother gifts...I gave Aaron a video game and a new hat!

Aaron spoiled me with a new scrapbook, a scrapbook of our wedding, hair products and a huge book on my favorite subject The Universe...

I thought Subways were only in New York City...

The first subway I ever road took me to Lincoln City to dance at the School of American Ballet in New York City. My next subway experience was quite different. We hiked "The Subway" in Zion's National Park and there was no Lincoln City at the end of the tunnel, just the amazing accomplishment of hiking an eight hour and pretty intense trail with some very sore quad and glute muscles on the side. Being with my perfect husband and enjoying nature at it's most beautiful while hiking, rock climbing, repelling, sliding down natural water slides and swimming made my original subway experience (smells like a sewer, homeless men looking at me weird, being squished like a sardine) seem a little sub par.
