Welcome 2011!
Can anyone tell me where 2010 went? Sheesh! Time really does fly when you are having fun/getting older. Las Vegas is probably considered the holy mecca of having a good time to ring in the new year. Apparently we had 300,000 guests this year. I would like to thank all of the tourist who came to visit our sweet city for making the traffic unbearable this time of year. Rather than going to the strip and dodging drunks and B list celebrities we opted for a quiet night out on the town in Boca Park. We were lucky enough to have our friends Brett and Emily join us to see Tron (Aaron and I really enjoyed the Sci-fi movie) and eat a nice steak dinner at Flemings. Considering I've been a vegetarian for almost nine years I was sure I would eat light. Wrong. We were all so stuffed with delicious food by the time we said "Happy New Year" I thought I was going to have to be wheeled out to the car in a wheel chair due to a mild food coma. It was a great last meal of 2010.
2010 was really a fantastic year for Aaron and I. We grew closer together and we just love each other more and more. Things didn't always go according to plan. We made a move to St. George hoping we would be there for a year or two, only to end up back in Vegas five months later. While this may have seemed like an inconvenience at the time, in the long run I know we will look back on it as a blessing. We have been given so much and we are so thankful for the love and support from our families. Thanks 2010 for being so great. We always try to stay optimistic and in staying with that tradition we know 2011 is going to be a superb year too! Happy New Year!
